FAQ/Return & Refund Policies
Please remember that we are a small shop. We use local manufacturers and family-run businesses as our partners here in America. While this means we can feel good about everything we make, it sometimes means that products take a bit longer than expected and creates the occasional logistical issue. We do not have a massive supply chain or a massive team of people working 24/7. It's just us...doing our best...just like you. Thank you and enjoy!
How to Reach Us
- dailydadcourses@gmail.com is our customer service channel and we will respond to all tickets as quickly as possible. Customer service emails are responded to in the order they are received, so if you follow up with another email before we respond to your first email, you put yourself further back in the queue. Please be patient and kind!
*Order issues reported after 90 days are not eligible for reshipment or reimbursement.
What to Expect When Placing an Order
-Remember to verify your address and email before completing a purchase. You will be responsible for reshipment costs due to an insufficient or incorrect addresses.
-Shipping estimates provided during checkout are only estimates and do not include order processing times. Please see below for more information on order processing times.
-You will receive an order confirmation email once you have successfully completed an order and will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
-If you wish to make any changes or cancel your order, please reach out to dailydadcourses@gmail.com ASAP and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Order Processing
-Many of our items ship within 1 business day of placing your order. However we are a small operation and some items can take 2-4 business days to process and ship. During peak seasons, please allow 3-5 business days for your order to ship.
-Occasionally we do offer pre-orders for certain items. These items will mention pre-order in the description and will ship according to the timeline given in the description
-Once your order has started the fulfillment process, we cannot make any changes or cancellations. This also includes address changes.
-If you wish to make any changes or cancel your order, please reach out to dailydadcourses@gmail.com ASAP and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Shipping
*Shipping estimates provided during checkout are only estimates and do not include order processing times.
-We use USPS to ship orders within the United States. We utilize the following services for shipping orders and have included USPS timelines below.
-We use UPS Economy to ship internationally which connects with local postal carriers internationally. Due to Covid-19, we are seeing delays in transit times with these shipping carriers.
International order are currently taking anywhere from 3-7 weeks depending on the destination and any delays.
-International orders are subject to customs clearance and many countries are quarantining packages before final delivery. We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding delivery times and are happy to answer any questions you may have at dailydadcourses@gmail.com.
*International orders may also require customs fees to be paid before you can receive your package. This is entirely handled by the shipping carrier and destination country. These fees are calculated by the customs agency and are based on the value of the order. We have no control over these fees, nor do we ever see them. We recommend ensuring that you have a good phone number attached to your order, so you can be notified if/when your order is being held for customs fees/clearance.
Tracking
International Orders
-International orders are shipped using UPS Economy. This service connects with local postal carriers to deliver internationally. This means you will be given a UPS tracking number when your order ships to track the package on its journey through the United States. Your package must be processed through an international distribution center before being shipped overseas. Due to Covid-19 and high parcel volumes, packages can take anywhere from 5-10 business days to be processed at a center.
-An alternate tracking number will be listed under ‘view details’ on the original UPS tracking information page. The alternate tracking number is provided by USPS and tracks your order through customs and delivery in the destination country. You will be contacted via mail, email, or phone regarding customs fees. If you are not contacted, you must reach out to your local post or whoever handles customs clearance in your country. If they are unable to assist you, please reach out to dailydadcourses@gmail.com.
Signed Book Orders
-Personalized signed book orders take 5-7 business days to process and show updates. You may receive a shipping confirmation email shortly after placing the order however tracking will not show any updates until Ryan has signed your book and your order has been packaged and shipped.
-Personalized books also ship separately from other Daily Stoic Store items so you may be given two tracking numbers for one order.
I received a delivery notification but I haven’t received my order?
-Occasionally, USPS will update tracking as 'delivered' when the package has arrived at the post office that will be handling delivery. If you have not received your order, we recommend reaching out to your local post office or to USPS directly to make sure there was not a mixup with delivery. Please reach out to dailydadcourses@gmail.com if they are unable to provide any assistance.
Returns/Exchange Policy
-We allow 7 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return for a refund or exchange. Refunds and exchanges will not be offered after this 7 day period.
-Please reach out to dailydadcourses@gmail.com for return/exchange inquiries. Please note we only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If eligible for a return/exchange, you will be given a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return.
-You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning an item unless you received a damaged or defective item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. So, if you receive a refund, the cost of shipping for your order will be deducted from your refund.
-We recommend that you use a trackable shipping service for any returns or that you purchase shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item or the time it takes to process the return.
-To be eligible for a refund/exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and must be in the original packaging.
Any sale items
-Once your return is received by our fulfillment center and processed, we will issue a refund or process the exchange. Depending on where you live, the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
-International orders may not be eligible for returns or exchanges, depending on the circumstances of the order.
*Please note all refunds can take up to 10 business days to complete processing once we have issued the refund. If you have not received a refund after this time, please reach out to your bank or credit card company as they may have longer processing times.
